I didn’t know Whuffie was real! And of course caseorganic is the richest person I know.

In our discussions at Banff about free stores and alternative/local currencies, the idea (pipe dream) of reputation-based currencies came up. I wasn’t aware that the word “Whuffie” (invented by Cory Doctorow in a Sci-Fi novel) was already the de facto term for it. I was also not aware that someone had already set up a Whuffie bank. Right now you can only earn Whuffie through Twitter, apparently, and since I haven’t been using my Twitter account, I’m Whuffie-broke.

So, I guess you can give me Whuffie if you want. And then you’ll have to explain to me what to do with it.
